How to Get Started with A Better Bod Personal Training Gold Coast

GETTING STARTED


Here are our simple steps to ensure your personal training gets off to the best start possible:



1. Contact us by phone 0430 573 617,or email us using our convenient contact form located on the left side of this page. We will contact you to arrange a time for you initial  consultation that is convenient for you.. You may need to be a little flexible here depending on how busy we are and time slot availability.
Once at your first consultation, your trainer will ask your background of your exercise, nutrition & medical history. If all is ok and no Doctor permissions are required, we will run you through a couple of fitness tests so we can customize a program for you. (Don't worry you probably won't even crack a sweat). Your body analysis will be done so we can monitor your future progress.


4. Sign up for some sessions
We offer a variety of training plans and options for you to choose from [see prices | specials ].  At A Better Bod we create a plan for you for your needs and goals.
We assess how much training you need, how often, your time restraints and what can afford. We have different durations of training and the ability to pay in blocks of sessions, 5, 10, 15 or more or you can use our direct debit gateway - Ezypay in weekly or fortnightly installments, which is a lot easier than having to get money out for your session, just set it and forget it so it automatically comes out of your nominated account.

5. Follow your & stick to the plan
Good trainers will provide you with and have access to a nutrition plan that will play a major role in supporting your personal training, and give you the best chance of reaching your goals. I mean 80% of your training is based on nutrition, exercise alone won't develop the results you are looking for, if you want to tone up for example, how can you see a change to your body with a layer of fat covering you newly toned muscles. Also nutrition is the major key to recovery and keeping you strong and healthy inside and out.

6. Do extra workouts at home, the gym or outdoors
For most people that do 1-3 sessions per week, personal training on it’s own may not be sufficient to burn enough of the energy that is consumed through food and drinks. Adding extra sessions at your gym, going for a 30 - 40 min walks, ride your bike or run will help you reach your goals much faster.
